Science & Engineering Practice 7: Engaging in argument from evidence
Science & Engineering Practice 8: Obtaining, evaluating, and communicating information
1. Justify how this project/activity/assignment meets the standard, using evidence from the standard itself to demonstrate your mastery and/or understanding.
This project meets the standard because the standard is to engage in an argument and also communicating with others obtaining information about our planet that we were assigned thus meeting the standard. Also I understand how to engage in an argument such as a debate.
2. Elaborate on at least 1 Science & Engineering Practices you feel you met/gained from completing this project.
One Science & Engineering Practices I felt I gained from completing this project is knowing how to debate about science and find other planet's flaws and communicating with one another about science.
3. Upon reflecting on your work/score, what is ONE SEP/or area of work you could have done better on? How will improving in this SEP/area benefit future work/projects?
I could've done better by getting more information that's beneficial to my group in defending and how our planet Mercury can sustain long. Also I could've done better in crossfires. Improving these things in the future can benefit me in future projects like when we have to debate about science.
4. How will you presently apply the content and skills you learned from this assignment in the real-world, outside of the classroom? Make connections between the content and your life
I can apply the skills I learned from this assignment in the real-world when I'm debating and I learn to communicate well with one another from learning these skills.
