5.4 Students understand the political, religious, social, and economic institutions that evolved in the colonial era
13 Colonies Brochure: 5.4,5.4.1-3
1. Justify how this project/activity/assignment meets the standard, using evidence from the standard itself to demonstrate your mastery and/or understanding. This project meets the standard because in this standard it says to understand the political, religious, social, and economic institutions that evolved in the colonial era and in the project I had to find these information on a certain colony that I was assigned. Also this demonstrates that I understand this because I got a 3 or 4 on this brochure and I think I did well on this brochure in finding information about these.
2. Elaborate on at least 1 skill and/or strength you feel you gained from completing this project. (Coloring and or drawing are not skills to write about - elaborate on life skills you can take out of this project)One skill that I feel I gained from this project is that I'm good at independent work if I know what I'm doing. Also I think I am good at getting things done when I think I need to. Life skills I can take out of this project is that I can get things done if I try and also not to procrastinate.
3. Upon reflecting on your work/score, what is ONE area of work you could have done better on? How will improving in this area benefit future work/projects? (Coloring and or drawing are not skills to write about - research skills, time management, etc…)I think I could've managed my time better. I think I could've done that by doing more work on the first day and doing the same amounts of work each day so I could've gotten a better score. Improving theses things can help me in the future because when I'm in college I'm gonna have to manage my time well to get better grades.
4. How will you presently apply the content and skills you learned from this assignment in the real world (outside of the classroom, particularly in today’s society). Make connections between the content and your life.I will apply the skills I learned from this assignment in the real world when I get my homework I will be able to use my skills to get things done when I know I need to. Also I will use my skill independent work so I can depend on myself but when I need other peoples help I will cooperate.
