Personal Statement
Over the three years I have been at rise, this year was the best year. Compared to the other years at rise in 6th and 7th grade I achieved the best grades in 8th grade. I achieved decent grades, passed 3 out of 3 writing exams and also achieved 6/7 goals in my otcu. Even though I didn't finish my books or study island I still achieved the requirement in to going to high school. I was only able to finish 1/4 of the requirements of community service hours, but I still felt that I have done much as possible. Several things I have done to serve my community in 5 hours was to help elevate the kids education, serve the elderly, and also fund-raise money to send money to charity.
This year I have done better than last year. Last year I only had passed 2 out of 3 writing exams. Also in 7th grade I only had 3 A's and 4 B's but this year I have achieve 5 A's and 2 B's and I am proud to know that I improved. And I have been On Target for the past 3 years at Rise and I am happy to know that every year I have improved little by little in elevating in education.

Rise Mission
R-Reciprocate/Give back
I partially achieved giving back by only doing 5 hours or so of community hours. I did the 5 hours of community service from my church by serving the elderly and also taking care of the kids. I served the elderly by giving food and service in helping and also fund-raised money to donate to charity. Also I tutored little kids on math by teaching them how to multiply and other mathematical problems. Even if I couldn't achieve the requirements I got decent amount of things done in 5 hours.
I-Initiate and Innovative/Change starts with you.
I was able to Initiate in change with little kids by helping them with their mathematical problems. I was also able to serve the elderly food and also I was able to fundraise to donate to the charity. A charity that helped people with clothes. This is how i started a change with me.
S-Steward/Be an advocate for change.
I was able to partially be an advocate for change by fundraising for money to donate to charity foundations in this 5 hour of community service. Another way I was partially an advocate for change was to help little kids in need to succeed in school to get better chances to get into good schools.
E-Elevate through Education.
I was able to elevate in education by achieving better grades then in 6th and 7th grade. I was also able to help little kids elevate in their own education by teaching them multiplication. I also taught the little kids some reasons why education is important since they were persisting on not studying their times tables and also telling that learning this will benefit his/her future. In conclusion even though I finished only 1/4 of the requirements of community service I still did much as possible.
