Standard: 3a. I know the structure of the atom is composed of protons, neutrons, and electrons.
Standard: 3b. I know that compounds are formed by combining two or more different elements and that compounds have properties that are different from their constituent elements.
1. Justify how this project/activity/assignment meets the standard, using evidence from the standard itself to demonstrate your mastery and/or understanding.
This assignment meets the standard because the standard is to know the structure of an atom and also know what the parts of an atom is and also I know what compounds are. This shows that I understand the assignment meaning that I understand the standard.
2. Elaborate on at least 1 Science & Engineering Practices you feel you met/gained from completing this project.
One Science & Engineering Practices I feel I gained from completing this assignment is that I learned how to make an atom structure and also I learned how a compound is formed which is by two different elements chemically bonding.
3. Upon reflecting on your work/score, what is ONE SEP/or area of work you could have done better on? How will improving in this SEP/area benefit future work/projects?
One area of work I can improve on is by bringing more resources when being told to bring resources to be more successful on the project. Improving this will benefit future projects by getting a successful grade and a better cca.
4. How will you presently apply the content and skills you learned from this assignment in the real-world, outside of the classroom? Make connections between the content and your life
I can apply the skills I've learned from this assignment in the real-world when I'm in high school learning about atoms and the structure of an atom and also compounds. I also can become a scientists in atoms and atom structures.
